1/26 – Paying it Forward: An HBCU/Ivy League Collaborative Panel

imageJoin the BAC on Saturday, January 26th for “Paying it Forward: An HBCU/Ivy League Collaborative Panel”, an educational event engaging high school students on successful college admittance and performance. Alumnus representing eight Ivy League and Historically Black Colleges and Universities will share insights from their undergraduate experiences and will participate in a meaningful dialogue with prospective college students.

For this collaborative event, the BAC has teamed up the Catalyst Network Foundation (CNF) – a Brooklyn based organization, founded by young professionals to support under-served and high-potential young people in reaching their specific career and life goals.

We will be joined by high school students who currently attend Benjamin Banneker Academy, Medgar Evers College Prep, Erasmus Hall Campus, Achievement First Charter School, Harlem Renaissance High School Urban Assembly of History & Citizenship, and Columbia Secondary School of Math, Science and Engineering.

A tour of Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus will follow the discussion.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to rsvp@columbiabac.org.
